Just saw some clowns at new york presbyterian hospital who said today’s NY POST had donald trump as a clown on the front page and that he gives clowns a bad name.

thanks, lauren! isn’t tumblr the best???
there is a link to a little interview at the top of my tumblr that i did with nicole from a little sussy blog… definitely check it out for insightful tips— i share how i got started and what got me to prop styling from graphic design in the first place. but my trajectory 8 years ago isn’t very usual for how people probably need to get their foot in today. my recommendation is to find all the prop stylists whose work you love and inquire about assisting and interning. it’s tough out there, but with drive and determination, if you really want to style and you truly believe it is the perfect fit for your skillset, keeping at it will get you somewhere. oh, and being in nyc or l.a. is probably a must.
unfortunately i’m not taking interns or new assistants at the moment as i’m about to have a baby (any day now!), but i wish you lots of good luck!
all the best—
of course! as long as you link back to my site, i always welcome image sharing.
